During my time as the lead dramatic role within Cirque Du Soleil's Saltimbanco, I had the guidance and wisdom of Sheinagh's vocal approach. If there were a martial art based on the projection of energy through vocal sound production, Sheinagh would be its master. Sheinagh’s wide stylistic range (north indian kayal to the italian bel canto), her interest in the music and technique from world vocal traditions and her assimilation, mastery and embodiment of subtle energy disciplines like nada yoga, reiki, and chi gong have created in her a distinct and exquisite vocal sound and in the process made her a powerhouse of a teacher. I have reaped the rewards of Sheinagh’s wisdom as her voice student and have had the privilege and advantage of recording her voice in various compositions with collaborations that span over twenty five divergent musical productions for the past 15 years. Together, we have published three CD’s in the past 4 years including many concerts and a workshop tour of Japan.
